April 25, 2025 – Arachas, Ireland's largest nationwide insurance broker, today announced the acquisition of Mulryan O’Gorman Insurance Brokers Limited, a family-owned brokerage established in 1999 in Galway. This acquisition aligns with Arachas’ plans for strategic growth in Connacht and follows several other successful acquisitions in Ireland’s other three provinces, including Insight Insurances, Gerry O’ Mahony Insurances and McDonald Dwyer Reddy & Byrne Insurances in Munster, John Brady Insurances in Ulster and Sheeran Insurances and Kinane Insurances in Leinster.

With a 26-year legacy in Galway City, Mulryan O’Gorman Insurance has built a strong reputation providing insurance solutions both locally and nationally to large commercial entities and the SME sector.

Padraig O’Gorman and the team at Mulryan O’Gorman, will remain with Arachas following the acquisition, ensuring a smooth transition for clients.
