Arachas, the country’s largest nationwide insurance broker, today announced the acquisition of the general insurance business of Tom Fogarty Insurance Brokers, one the most respected insurance brokers in Tipperary for an undisclosed sum. This is the second major investment in Tipperary by Arachas after acquiring O'Donoghue Hooper Dolan in 2020.
Arachas provides high quality and cost-effective insurance products for businesses and consumers with motor and home insurance around the country and this acquisition will increase the availability of these products to the people of Tipperary & East Limerick.
Tom Fogarty Insurance Brokers is a well-established and respected independent insurance brokerage for over 60 years and operates from offices at Bank Place in Tipperary Town. The business caters for the personal and medium sized business market specialising mainly in farm, home, shop, office and business insurance.
